Back in the 80's I moonlighted on music video productions. I art directed this music video for Arista records in support of Rock a Lot. The catch was that Aretha must be in the video but could not be filmed. The solution was to create a fantasy world inside of a boom box where an Aretha puppet and her minions perform. Footage was interspersed with live action of various celebrities interacting with the kid carrying the boom box around New York
